Giving a detailed explanation of quantum mechanics and its applications, this book starts with the fairly simple concept of wave-particle duality and then goes on to give a derivation of Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle and Chandrasekhar limit – the highest mass of a white dwarf.

Although accessible to most readers, the book covers some high level maths, especially in the later chapters. I found this book a welcome step up from my previous reads such as the 30 second quantum theory as it gave a very detailed and mathematical account of the fundamentals of quantum mechanics.
